Hey Everyone!!!  Winter is almost over and summer is just around the corner and that means.......FOOTBALL and CHEERLEADING practice will be here before you know it. We had a great year in 2008 and looking forward to an even better 2009. We have 19 returning for the JV Team. We are having tackle football for 6(must be 7 by Sept 30th) thru 13 years olds(can't turn 14 before Nov 8th)children(boys and girls), tackle cheerleading open to 1st thru 6th grade of Marshall County and Greene County. ENTREE  FEE for FOOTBALL is $75 for 1 child, $130 for 2 children, $180 for 3 children, and $210 for 4 or more children. 7TH AND 8TH GRADERS PLAY FOR FREE!! CHEERLEADING is $50 per child. We are assuming your child is returning this year unless advised otherwise. Located in Cameron, West Virginia, The Young Dragons consist of 3 teams and cheering squads of children ages 6 - 13. The Young Dragons were founded by  Larry and Linda Ashby in 2007, and I am proud to say that we have had a great first year.  Other than simply providing a recreation for todays youth, we hope to instill in our players and cheerleaders a sense of pride in achievement, discipline,self esteem and a strong work ethic. Without these character traits, true success is of little value. We need to encourage them to make positive choices in life and to keep the doors to opportunity open.Positive life experiences and preperation for junior high and high school football are what we hope to achieve through this organization.We hope that you enjoy watching these young kids playing and cheering their hearts out as much as we do.This site was created  as an information center for anyone who visits.
